Blinkfire Analytics raises $1.6 million from Silicon Valley and European Investors to extend their lead in the real-time sponsorship analytics space
Blinkfire Analytics was the first Software as a Service platform to market to offer real time sponsorship analytics across social, digital, and OTT platforms – and is trusted by the likes of LaLiga and all 40 LaLiga teams in the first and second divisions of Spanish football, as well as many other top tier EPL, NBA, MLS, Serie A teams in tandem with their sponsors and agencies, such as Publicis, ESP, Toyota, and Electronic Arts. Only Blinkfire has hundreds of millions of posts in addition to demographic data from our MVFs™ (Most Valuable Followers) that we can apply our state of the art computer vision and artificial intelligence techniques (patents pending) to provide actionable insights to our customers that help them generate more revenue or optimize their spend.
Although our business has been profitable for some time, we’ve chosen to raise a round of capital to accelerate growth in a number of strategic areas with investors who really believe in our mission to optimize the sponsorship marketplace to help buyers and sellers make decisions in real time.
This fresh infusion of $1.6 million has been provided by Harrison Metal (seed investors in AdMob and MoPub), Dick Costolo (former CEO of Twitter and FeedBurner), Andreas Mihalovits, and a number of inside investors from our seed round.
We’re extremely excited to work with each of these investors to help Blinkfire extend our lead in the marketplace even further, and continue to provide the gold standard of accuracy in real time sponsorship measurement to rights-holders and sponsors.
