What’s New at Blinkfire Analytics: Audience Retention & Targeted Posts
We’ve joked before about having customers on every continent except Antarctica. Well, given that it’s warmer in Esperanza Base than Chicago today we’re considering buying a team and moving there. But we’re a hearty stock, and our CEO talks about the days in the eighties that would put today to shame, so a little cold isn’t going to stop us from cranking out some brand new features.
Audience Retention — Facebook and YouTube Videos
When you post videos, how engaging are they with fans and followers? Audience retention is the measurement of how much of a video your audience watched as well as when they dropped off — a super important metric to better understand the videos that resonate with fans and which ones may need to be tweaked during a content strategy session. In short, are your videos compelling and interesting enough to command a viewer’s attention?
On the post-level, Blinkfire users can now see audience retention metrics for their owned and operated Facebook and YouTube video posts (if they have the proper credentials). Here’s an example from the platform.
Custom Reports Builder: Targeted Post Search Filter
With the decline of Facebook page reach, many teams are choosing to use Facebook’s organic post targeting to hit the right audience’s news feed. Often times teams will target specific countries with specific organic content, so we created a new search filter in Custom Reports Builder, so our customers could find the specific posts. Simply search by the country or countries targeted, and the posts will appear.
You can view the targeted countries on the card level view.
Even better, on the post level we’ve built a nifty world view to show the countries targeted. Pretty cool, right?
