5 posts from the NFL Draft
The NFL Draft was last night in Las Vegas. While most people tuned in to watch the first-round picks, the Blinkfire team scrolled through social media feeds to see what kind of campaigns and content were posted across the league.
1. Welcome to the team
Upon drafting players, teams would welcome their news stars on social media. Welcome posts were most often sponsored, ranging from New Orleans Saints x Cox Communications to Carolina Panthers x Lowe’s.

2. Team Trades
When teams traded draft picks for players, there were social media posts highlighting those transactions. We’ve highlighted one of the best ones playing into the “Vegas” theme: Baltimore Ravens with their 2022 NFL Draft partner Caesars Sports.

3. Draft Order
The Dallas Cowboys had some fun with the Draft’s Vegas locale and used a poker chipped-themed draft order social media post, sponsored by Miller Lite.

Similar to a game day graphic, many teams started the draft with a “Draft Day” announcement. One of our favorites came from the Detroit Lions, with the backdrop of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign.

Many universities made sure to honor former players who were drafted in the first round. The Ohio State University created cool interactive social posts for Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave.
