2024-25 Premier League Kit Sponsors
Sports sponsorship is one of the most powerful and effective marketing strategies for brands, especially in globally impactful competitions like the Premier League. With over 229 million social media followers and a fanbase exceeding one billion followers among its teams, the Premier League offers immense visibility and serves as an ideal platform for brands aiming for global recognition.
Among all sponsorship assets, the team kit is the most coveted by sponsors, as it guarantees constant exposure in stadiums, broadcasts, and, of course, on social media.
Let’s take a look at which brands have chosen to feature on the kits of each of the 20 Premier League teams and identify the sectors they belong to.
Front of the Jersey Sponsor
Once again, betting companies dominate the front of Premier League kits, serving as the main shirt sponsors. Last season, they accounted for 40% of the sponsorships, but this figure has now risen to 52.6%: half of the teams in the English league display betting brands as their main kit sponsors.
This highlights the significant impact of betting companies on sports sponsorship in the Premier League. However, a big question arises: what will happen starting in the 2026-27 season? From that point on, the ban on using betting companies as main shirt sponsors will come into effect. Nevertheless, their presence will not disappear entirely, as they will still be visible on other assets or parts of the kit, such as the sleeves.
As of 9/12/2024, Chelsea is the only team yet to announce its main sponsor.

Sleeve Sponsors
Up to 10 different sectors are represented on the sleeves of Premier League teams. Companies related to tourism and accommodation are the most common, appearing on the sleeves of five teams: Arsenal, Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham, Liverpool, and Southampton.
In second place are software companies, which sponsor the sleeves of four teams: Ipswich Town, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and West Ham United. Although not leading in numbers, cryptocurrency companies continue to have a presence on the sleeves of three teams: Aston Villa, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Kit Suppliers
Adidas has significantly increased its presence in the Premier League this season, sponsoring seven teams compared to four in the 2023-24 season. Joining Arsenal, Fulham, Manchester United, and Nottingham Forest are Aston Villa, Leicester, and Newcastle. This growth positions the German brand as the most prominent among English league clubs, solidifying its popularity in the competition.
Second place is shared by Umbro and Nike, each sponsoring four teams. The English brand has gone from five teams to four this year, similar to another English brand, Castore, which dressed three teams in the 2023-24 season but will only be seen on Everton this year. The newly established brand, Sudu, has entered the Premier scene with Wolverhampton.
