2023-24 Premier League Jersey Sponsors
The end of the summer marks the return to routine and the start of many of our favorite leagues. One of the most prominent leagues that returned to play in August was the English Premier League (EPL). The EPL boasts more than 194.18 million followers on social media, making it a global showcase for brands looking to associate with elite sports.
Becoming an official sponsor of a Premier League team offers brands a valuable opportunity to increase their visibility worldwide through effective sports marketing strategies and the influence of social media. Sports sponsorship allows companies to partner with well-known teams and reach a global audience of football fans who share their emotions and experiences on social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
For the 2023-24 EPL season, we analyzed which brands sponsor each of the 20 Premier League teams on the front of their jerseys, sleeves, and kit manufacturers. This season saw Sheffield United, Luton Town, and Burnley FC promoted to the Premier League.
Front of Jersey Sponsors
Betting companies continue to dominate the list of companies featured on the front of Premier League team jerseys, just like last season. Eight teams are sponsored by a betting brand, whereas last year there were nine teams (Newcastle moved from Fun88 to Sela this year). The second-place spot is occupied by brands from the financial sector, which were main sponsors for three teams last year and are now sponsors to four. The top two teams in the 2023-24 season have airlines on their jerseys, with Manchester City sporting Etihad and Arsenal featuring Emirates.

Rumors suggest that Chelsea will replace Three with Infinite Athlete. The technology company is expected to pay around 64 million euros per season.
Sleeve Sponsors
On the sleeve of Premier League teams are brands from 11 sectors, including betting, crypto, and tourism. Last season, crypto made its historic debut in the Premier League when Chelsea announced an agreement to become the first EPL team to display a crypto company on its sleeve. This season, crypto companies continue their commitment to sports sponsorship by partnering with three other major teams: Aston Villa, Burnley, and Manchester City.

The tourism sector has established its presence with three Premier League teams: Arsenal, Fulham, and Liverpool. Since 2018, Arsenal has collaborated with Visit Rwanda to promote the African country as an attractive tourist destination. Liverpool, on the other hand, announced earlier this year a four-year extension of its partnership with the renowned travel company Expedia. The team also does some fantastic activations with Expedia.
Kit Supplier Brands
Umbro, and not the mighty Nike or Adidas, is the supplier of the most Premier League teams this season (five to be exact): Bournemouth, Brentford, Burnley, Luton Town, and West Ham. The English brand is having somewhat of a resurgence and has even announced multiple partnerships with fashion brands like Percival and Aries.
Adidas and Nike represent 40% of all kit suppliers in the Premier League, with each brand outfitting four teams. Last season, this figure was 45%. The German brand is worn by Arsenal, Fulham, Manchester United, and Nottingham Forest, while the American brand sponsors Brighton, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Manchester, Castore maintains its presence with the same English clubs as the last season: Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Wolverhampton.
Other technical brands that sponsor English league teams include Hummel (Everton), Errea (Sheffield United), Macron (Crystal Palace), and Puma, the technical brand of the current Premier and Champions League champion (Manchester City).
