We’re excited to announce a new report that can work in tandem with Blinkfire’s Demographics report. Introducing, Viewer Demographics. This report breaks down the demographics of a rights holder, brand, or media company’s viewers across Facebook and YouTube.
Reports are broken down by age, gender, combined age and gender, and country/continent.


How can you use this data?
The possibilities are endless. One way is taking a team’s demographic data and layering it with viewer data. Here are a few examples.
Viewers by Gender: Let’s say a team’s male-to-female demographic split is 80:20, but viewership demographics is 95:5. The next question to ask is why? What video content are you posting that might not resonate with a female audience? And how can you shift your strategy?
Viewers by Country/Continent: Does your team have a large follower base in South America, but most of your videos are watched in the United States? Can your team fix that by developing videos more targeted towards your South American audience?
Viewer demographics can unlock valuable insights to help create the most engaging content possible. And, when combined with our demographics report, you’ll be the star of your next social media + content meeting.
