Blinkfire’s Post Analytics for Better Insights
At Blinkfire, we push the boundaries at the intersection of sponsorship, technology, and data. That means developing products, tools, and platform enhancements for our customers.
We’re excited to unveil our new and improved Post Analytics view in Blinkfire! Engagements, impressions, and sponsorship, scene, and asset detection have been redesigned with a fresh look that users can effectively navigate. We also added new features like brand detection timeline (for videos) and demographic data.
Social, Digital, and Broadcast Insights
Public Metrics
We offer the same metrics as before but with an updated view. Public metrics include comments, likes, retweets, and video views.
Private Insights
If an entity has logged in with the proper credentials, they can see their owned and operated accounts private insights like reach and impressions.

Post Engagement
As we’ve always displayed, total post engagement is viewable but we added an enhancement to remind users what engagement means based on the platform. For example, an engagement on Instagram is a share, like, or comment; an engagement on Facebook is a share, reaction, or comment.
Post Valuation
For post valuation, we included info on what post valuation means – which is the cost an advertiser would need to pay for exposure (dependent on the platform: social, web, broadcast, etc.). Blinkfire’ valuation continues to be the most advanced and transparent methodology in the industry to value content.
Sponsorship Insights
Brand, Asset and Scene Detection
Blinkfire’s patented AI and CV technology detects a post’s brand, asset, and scene (when applicable). For each brand detected, you can see 1) asset detection (uniform, on-court, ground adboard, etc.), 2) brand valuation, 3) detection type (visual spot, @mention, branded hashtag, and branded content), and 4) exposure type: passive or active (passive: brand exposure on a uniform or step and repeat; active: digital overlay)
Image Posts
With image posts on platforms like Threads, Twitter, Instagram, and Sina Weibo, users can view the brand detected, asset detected (within that brand), brand valuation, and how the brand was detected.
Video Posts
For videos, duration and time on screen matter. We break down a brand’s time on screen and screen share percentage. Duration and screen share percentage will impact the brand’s valuation in video content.
Brand Analytics in Videos
Video Brand Timeline
Displaying data in an interactive, engaging way is what we strive to build at Blinkfire. With that in mind, we created a brand timeline as part of the Post Analytics. We know it’s imperative for teams, leagues, agencies, and brands to view every single detection in the most accurate and transparent way possible — and we did just that with our best-in-class AI and computer vision technology.
The brand timeline shows every brand detection during a video. You can even click a detection to skip to that timeframe! We’ve given customers the option to include assets in the brand timeline by clicking the “assets” button above the brands.
Video Audience Retention and Time Watched
Posts within user’s owned and operated accounts will also have audience retention and time watched data included in “single post view”. These can be helpful insights that can show you where your audience tends to fall off and performance compared to other video content.
Demographic Data
Posts from a user’s owned and operated accounts (on accounts where demographic data is available) will also feature demographic data including viewership by age, gender, and country.
We update and add new features to our products to better serve our customers. Whether it’s integrating Threads in our platform within 24 hours of the app’s launch, adding new products like Blinkfire Inventory Manager, or updating current tools, we’re committed to giving our customers the most advanced and accurate data in the industry.
